This World Environment Day session is designed as a practical introduction to source segregation for homes, schools, hostels, offices, and communities.
Hosted online on Google Meet from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on June 5, 2026, the session focuses on one core idea: everyday sorting decisions determine whether waste remains recoverable or becomes contaminated.
The session draws from Green3r's Segregate Waste, Save Earth deck and covers:
- the basic difference between wet, dry, sanitary, and special-care waste
- common mistakes that spoil segregation and reduce recycling value
- simple handling rules such as keeping recyclables empty, rinsed, dry, and separate
- a short audience activity on where common household items should go
The goal is not only to explain segregation, but to make it feel practical, repeatable, and useful in everyday life.
